BioWare, Electronic Arts role-playing game mill, has its nose to the grindstone with the next round of sequels to its most recent series. Mass Effect 4 is on the way (only it wont really be Mass Effect 4). Dragon Age 3: Inquisition has been in a variety of production stages over the past two years, and all thats clear is that EA and BioWare want to tailor it to whatever customers say they want. What consoles will these games be on, though? Maybe PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, maybe the PlayStation 4 and Next Xbox, definitely PCs? Definitely the latter three based on word from BioWare.

The next Mass Effect game and Dragon Age 3: Inquisition will both run on DICEs shiny new Frostbite 3 engine. Those games didnt put in an appearance at GDC 2013 when DICE debuted Battlefield 4, but the studios new general manager Aaryn Flynn confirmed on Twitter that those sequels will use the same tech.

For everyone whos been asking after the BF4 reveal, DA3 and the next Mass Effect are also using Frostbite 3, said Flynn, Its awesome. - MORE HERE

Mass Effect 4 will be a fresh and new universe experience, says BioWare

Mass Effect 4: BioWare Director Hints at Exciting New Storyline - BioWare is yet to announce officially the next game in the critically acclaimed Mass Effect (ME) series. However, the game's development team in Montreal seems to have no qualms in teasing the game's storyline.

EDIT 16 June 2015 AUS time: Mass Effect Andromeda has just been revealed in the EA E3 Press Conference. Info available on page 4.

I love how they will make the next Mass Effect with a new Story, New Character and expecting a whole new experience. well, I have to Say Shepard is still the best of the Series. Saving the galaxy an'all. but this is really new. maybe gives more insight about Reapers, Cerberus or even Galactic History or something. Really exciting! :D

I totally agree! The only downside to ME4 so far is the insane amount of waiting for news!

Ha, yeah...I thought we would've gotten a bit more info by now...

Maybe Bioware is just taking their time and being really careful with ME4 to win back the fans they lost over ME3's ending...

Comic-con went on and on. No sign of Bioware News or anything.
We'll just have to wait for them to just pop out some news out of nowhere. Perhaps 2014 will give it a go. Really excited, but still my excitement almost meant for nothing. I couldn't even see at least one Screenshot. :(

The Next Mass Effect Won't Relate to "any of the Shepard events at all"

In my opinion it better have some relation to the ending of Shep's story or I and a lot of other fans will be raging.

Mass Effect 4: An Official Announcement
Casey Hudson then took to Twitter with the executive producer and they gave us some indication as to how the development of the game is going.

“What’s even more fun than working on the design of a new fictional world? Taking our first steps into it and looking around,” tweeted Hudson.

Our First, Teasing Glimpses Of The Next Mass Effect

Wow :)

It's not much to see but at least we now have photo evidence that production is actually moving forward on the game...hopefully we'll get a trailer in the next couple months...if so, it'll likely be a teaser trailer with no gameplay...

I'm not really going to trust anything I hear from Bioware about Mass Effect 4.. I heard a lot of talk before Mass Effect 3 and most of it was either half truths or lies.

I'm still really interested in ME4 because I love the universe so much. I'm hoping Bioware gets back on track and knocks it out of the park with this and DA3.. But I'm keeping my expectations in check.
